One of the harpoons skims his face and he snarls, but quickly circles himself, providing an umbrella over Betty as he looks up at the ship. The waves start churning in earnest, lightning striking and then there's a brief lull in the attack. He uncoils like a spring, shooting out at the boat and smashing his head right into the keel. The sound is like an explosion under the waves, and the boat lifts right out of the water, sending sorry sailors spilling every direction around the broken vessel. It starts to take on water, but then as Bruce is racing back toward Betty there's an explosion that rips through the water, and he quickly encircles her, protecting her from every angle as bits of debris sink down around them.
