He whines in half-protest at being slobbered, but he's trying not to 'laugh' at the same time. He ducks his head a little, letting her lick his head.

Well, 'smart' is debatable some days. Hungry, not so much. He gives a quiet, amused woof at her affections and closes an eye. So...less bath, more pizza?
