The woods are downright peaceful, and once they reach the edge they step into a rustic village that seems stuck in the past with people wandering about their daily lives. Some seem to give half-interested glances their direction, but for the most part they seem to be minding their own business. Blonsky is leading the way, his head on a swivel as they pass down the main street and then stops before a small water fountain.

"Right, center of town. That's the town hall, which later that evening will be burnt to the ground. Around the corner to the west is the building I warned you about and over there is a bakery which doubles as the place where the mark will be hiding while the town turns upside-down. Don't mind the stares, that was part of the original experience." Blonsky turns to Betty and the Point man, birds fluttering in the sky and the sounds of carts rattling a block over filling the air. It really is peaceful, but he knows better, he knows what happens once the sun goes down and the utter hell that breaks loose. He was in the thick of it not a couple blocks over, back when he was a younger man.
